When I say, " street photography", I refer to the picture that doesn't be taken in events or studios. Is the photography of the real life, where the photographer, professional or amateur becomes part of what is happening or is witness of first hand of the facts, ending up many times to put in risk his life to make some takings. Many people ask me why I go with my camera on the back day and night. I believe that the exact answer would be: "because I am a photo- addict" . This has sometimes put in danger my life, as you can appreciate in the picture where is the title of this writing in that for go amid a shooting between policemen and kidnappers, the police confused my lens with a telescopic aim and began to shoot me. What I could make in those moments??, Nothing, only to take the pic that perhaps would be the last pic of my life. Is incredible but, at least in my case, I feel immune to the danger when I am behind my camera, thing excessively stupid, but that I find that it happens to many photographers. The good of this type of "Hobbie" is that one doesn't need to have a professional camera, you only need a decent film camera or a digital of 3 mp and better if it has a good optical zoom. Sometimes, in this type of picture, the photographer becomes part of the fact that is happening. For example one day I was walking toward the church with my wife and we saw a young guy drinking beer at 7:00 am in the border of a clff that is more than 70 meters high direct to a freeway . Immediately I suspected that he was a suicide and while I tried to speak with him I took out my camera and I had it ready for what happened. The guy told me that he planned to jump in that moment, but a cyclist that had noticed of the fact looked at me and it was as if we had connected ourselves mentally to save him. Then he put on a side where the suicide didn't see him and I put myself in view of the suicide and I said him, if you are so valiant, why instead of jumping, don't you fight with me?, the guy , that was totally drunk and perhaps drugged began to come toward me and the cyclist come closer from behind to him to grab him among both and to take him away from the cliff, but, in that precise moment the rescue squad of the police arrive and the guy make a half turn, looked to the hole and jump, all this in front of mine that with my camera in hand captured those moments that I put them here as a collage.

Well, definitively this topic have for a lot more and I will continue treating it in the successive days, because you know that in the street there are also deliquent, animals as birds, insects, etc. and wonderful things and people that I have photographed in its best moments. See you soon, I wait your comments about this topic. NOTE: COMMENT ABOUT THE TOPIC, DON'T ENTER TO CONGRATULATE ME, I WANT YOUR OPINION, CRITIQUES, ADVICES, ETC. Posted by Picasa

The street photography and it's surprises

It happens that many times, the professional photographer or amateur (the one that takes himself always a camera), meets with facts that never imagined in life. In the previous topic I speak of some risks of the street phtography. Now I will try the topic of the strange things that one find in the road. For example, one day I was on the roadway that goes through the whole coast of several districts of Lima, named "LA COSTA VERDE" ("The Green Coast" in english), and from my old VW 1971, I saw some lifeguard that seemingly tried of taking out something from the sea, but apparently, without any results. I parked to a side of the road and I ran, (well, in fact I rotated, because I am very fat), with my camera in hand toward them and I gave myself with the beautiful surprise of discovering that they tried to return to the sea a bottle nose dolphin (as Flypper) that was beached in the shore. That made me feel very well, because I could verify that there are even people that go beyond what their work demands them (lifeguards of the police in this case), to rescue a poor animal in troubles. Of course, I put my camera in a safe place and helped them in their heroic task, but, regrettably every time that we got to return the beautiful animal to the sea, the dolphin gave half turn and returned to the shore again. Then we found out that a ship of stealthy fishermen had been throwing dynamite to the sea, that seemingly wasted the nervous system of the poor dolphin, who, finally died in our hands.
With the sadness of the case, I sat down in the bank to meditate what happened and while I was looking the beauty of the sea I was thinking in how there are people that for some coins, do so much damage to our ecology. Until then all was normal , but later I turn my head and I saw the most incredible thing that I had imagined!!!!!!!. There, amid the beach, were some policemen of the special forces was intervening a clown!!!!, yes!! as you are reading it, hahahaha!!! What was doing policemen of the special forces in the beach? and even the strangest thing, what was doing a clown there? because it was not summer neither there were swimmers to make business with them!! Well, an image is worth more than a thousand words, so look by yourselves that what I tell you. This, that I have written is only another small sample of what a photographer can find in the street, l leave you by the moment, but I will continue with this topic. I have a lot to tell you and I hope that you comment on this topic and if you want, you can send your experiences and pictures to
armando2004n@gmail.com to publish it in this blog. SEE YOU SOON!!! AND GOD BLESSES YOU AND EXCUSE MY BAD ENGLISH

STREET PHOTOGRAPHY, EVERYTHING LIKE IN A MALL

It is not strange that the photographer that always takes a camera (I have said "ALWAYS") find in his way with circumstances like the one that illustrate the beginning of this new publication. It was February 14 (DAY of the friendship and the love). Me, my wife (and my lover "my camera") we walked for the park and we meet with a gay manifestation claimed their rights. They, when seeing that I was taking pictures to a monument, called me and decided to pose for my lens being given a great kiss, they thought that I belonged to the press and they wanted that this kiss will be published, hahahaha!! Fulfilled mission.
There are other times, in that unintentionally the destiny puts in front us an incredible picture, like happened when I was photographing a shoemaker that had a machine of sewing that worked by crank, this it is the picture.

While I took the picture I listened a terrible shouting between a lady and a salesperson of the market that seemingly discussed for a quantity of money. instinctively I looked for, seeing by the lens of my camera and I saw them to about 50 distance meters. I supported my camera on the roof of a car, I waited the opportune moment and I captured the precise moment in that the lady threw him a blow that finished impacting the salesperson's face, concluding in this way the discussion, hahahaaha!

The truth is that the photographer, is not any privileged one that happen for him exactly the things for his lens, this happen to all, the difference is that the photographer that always takes a camera can immortalize those moments. I don't want to bore you with so much bla, bla, bla. so I give you some more of my street pictures, because : "An IMAGE SAYS MORE THAN A THOUSAND WORDS". see you soon.

AND MANY MORE TO COME!!!
